The only thing that makes me happier than Stephen King's books is the Chicago Blackhawks. I am a HUGE hockey fan. I recently won tickets to a MAJOR game and a meet and greet with a random Blackhawks player. Instead of bringing the norm to be signed such as a jersey, hat, magazine. No… I chose to bring my favorite Stephen King novel, Duma Key, to be signed. After I told many of my customers (I work retail) they thought this was extremely odd. I did not. My two favorite loves combined into one?? How is that bad? My question, has anyone done such a thing as me? Or is this an Annie Wilkes moment??

Also if any Blackhawks fans were wondering… I met Ryan Hartman...

I sometimes get a person that might be associated with a King book to sign it. With 11.22.63, for example, I got Clint Hill (the secret service agent who climb onto the back of the JFK limo just after he was assassinated) and Buell Frazier (who drove Oswald to work on the morning of the assassination) to sign my copy. The cast of Pet Semetery signed my copy of that one and Traci Lords signed "Tommyknockers."
