I am currently on the journey to the Dark Tower and have come to the point where Eddie and Jake have passed into the clearing. I have read every novel Mr King has written but I don't think I have ever felt such sorrow the tears caused me to stop reading at several points.
Part of me is hesitant to go on right now because the grief is so strong and I am scared of what more is to come in Roland's way. I can imagine everyone on here has felt this pain at this point. I salute you Mr King, for creating stories/characters that are larger than life in your readers minds. Very sad but I know I will go on.

Go, then. There are other worlds than these.

Just reached the end. What a journey it has been! A journey that is not finished I believe. Feel so mixed up about the ending but I see that it cannot have ended any other way...just brilliant. Mr King always leaves me dazed and speechless. Now on to The Wind Through the Keyhole; I need my ka-tet comfort fix after all that :)
