It's a pretty slanted article, but not wholly unexpected. If even half of it's true, it's horrifying. I've never been able to understand parents who put their kids in the position of breadwinner and leave them unprotected at all times.

This is just disgusting. Why everyone covers this up and protects these sleazy people makes them just as culpable. We're supposed to give creative rich people a pass on this? I hope this blows the lid of this crap and people are prosecuted. And I don't care who they are.

If you've seen a few shows about child actors/celebrities, you know that many parents involved are treating their kids like meat puppets/meal tickets. That usually doesn't end well.

Just wait:

Not that I know the guy, or anything about him except that he is a very talented director. I just want to point out that these are allegations, nothing else.

If true, then he can burn for all I care. The key word here being ”if”.

Very true, anybody can be accused of anything, and their are alot of people in the world looking to exploit the rich and famous for their own gain by throwing around false accusations and hoping to get a financial settlement.

For every Victor Salva, who is a real life scumbag, you have situations where Keanue Reeves was accused of hypnotizing, raping & Impregnating a woman (He had to go to court and get a DNA test to disprove it).

So it's better to just wait until it goes to court and the facts come out...... Either way, I still liked Apt Pupil

I have no doubt that the things described in this article happen all the time in Hollywood. But our society today worships at the altar of fame. If a common man is even accused of doing any of the acts described in that article then his life is pretty much ruined. But if you're somebody famous bringing in major bucks for a studio people seem to look the other way.

I'm not sure how the article is slanted. Anyway, I really dislike anyone or group which thinks it's above the law, and I equally dislike people who aid and abet by covering up. Justice will win out.

Ugh. Coulda gone all night without reading that. I was just gonna say how the movie sucked cause they wimped-out the ending (left out that 'killer' last scene).

and...

Didn't somebody shoot an unreleased version of this with Ricky Schroader and Nicol Williamson?
