I'm going to Orlando to see Jason Isbell tonight so I won't be around. I'll go ahead and post the thread and hope that someone will bump it at approximately 9pm Eastern time; 5pm in North Pole, Alaska.
Have fun, man. I learned recently that Jason Isbell is from Alabama and I may know some of his distant relatives. His grandfather was a pentecostal preacher and my friends are of this particular faith. Anyway, it's an interesting connection. I'll try to see if they have checked their family lineage.

"My Pretty Pony" is one of King's best stories. He may not be remembered for it but I think he should.

Totally agree, and being one of the older Tet, it is more relevant than ever.

The show was fantastic. One of my favorite bands, The Drive-By Truckers is mostly from Alabama (and Jason used to be a member of the band in the early to mid 2000s.).

As far as the story, I didn't have time yesterday so I'm going to have to read that one tonight. (I have read it once before but it's been a loooong time ago)
