Take the time to read the link Bev provided for us. Very informative.
Also, at the end of the ebook, Bev gives some input into each story. Bev stated there was another ending-- would be interested in knowing the difference.
....I am aware of the "legend" of this seemingly innocuous structure, and I'm not buying the "perfect storm" theory .....there is some type of inexplicable force that is attracting these canines....if it had to do with scents of other animals etc., then there would be more than just dogs.....they place suicide fences on bridges here in the US, Scotland might consider something similar.....as far as Bev's works, I am on record-stating my enjoyment of his craft....just with all that is swirling in my world right now, I can't give them the attention they deserve.....

I liked that one. It's an eerie and sad tale. Maybe it's a supernatural tale but it's more about loss (and suicide). The bridge is thought of as a suicide bridge (for dogs at least) and Emma is scared of the bridge. At the beginning of the story, Emma is scared of the bridge. Is it becauase of what the dogs have been doing or is she scared of the bridge for what she might do (and ultimately does do)?

It gets blamed on the animal smells under the bridge but I have a hard time believing this is the only bridge in the world with animal smells under it.

By the way, positive cookie vibes being sent.
