...or earlier....I know, Scott's going on early-but only cuz I have to tuck the chickens into bed, then myself......this was my favorite story of the lot....it still lingers in my mind.....nasty little tale with a twisted Narnia landscape.....it's the sign of a well written piece when it continues to poke around in your imagination.....

That was quite a tale with a little of everything bad about humans.
Touches of fantasy, magical land with strange creatures, and an ending I must admit I did not see coming.

This is the second story in the collection with a little nod to Ray Bradbury (Sound Of Thunder). It's only a little nod though because this fantasy story is definitely all Joe.
I read that Netflix bought the rights to this story last year so there should be an adaptation coming sometime soon.

Haven't seen any updates on Netflex. Hope it gets produced and shown. His works have all the elements for a successful transfer to film.
....with his love of comics, he writes visually...

Hope you're feeling better. I had the flu a couple weeks ago. I took some meds that knocked it out in a couple of days but had a lingering cough that took a while to get rid of.

I finally read Faun and I think it is the best story in this collection so far - surprise ending, too!
It reminded me a lot of C.S. Lewis
