The weekly read is a graphic story rather than a written one. Something different. Did you enjoy it?
Only graphics I've read are the early DT related comics and a few of Joe Hill's.

This story , to me, was more unsettling and creepy than gory. Tones of horror and terror.
Colors played a part too. Earth tones/ bleak colors, yet that striking red splash.

What are your thoughts?

....well done effort, much said with few words and the description of the “man” is niggling at my mind-there is a horror movie that features a creature much like that....I shall go investigate....great idea Spidey, I enjoy many graphic novels and she has talent...
Poltergeist II. The old preacher man.

Great artwork for such a short little tale.

And very spooky. Obviously the man showing up to cart off these loved starved mountain women was the neighbor. Because the last daughter goes to the neighbor and it's him!. Who was the man with the smile? And why would dad want them to go to this neighbor?
