I just happened to catch an article on the story over at Entertainment Weekly. I came here to post a quick thought, but first, was the date of release changed to an earlier day in the month, or was it always supposed to be released this week? Also, can I get this at a bookstore?
What I wanted to write is this: the premise, of which there are now more details, sounds incredible. I know this is a cliché and most people probably hate this term, but seriously, this is classic King. I don't know what else to say. Really seems like this is going to be an excellent read. For Bev: do you think this will be adapted in some way, maybe for the Castle Rock series? I know one thing: Chizmar, for obvious reasons, should do the adaptation if it is.
As someone on the board pointed out, King does seem open to doing these kinds of collaborations. I know the Patterson comparison would be unpopular, but if King did more collaborations with his family and friends, it might be the start of something very significant in his career of distributing storytelling ideas to the masses.
