We finally finished Tiger King plus the after show last night. I swear all the other yahoos, I dislike them more than Joe Exotic. I feel sorry for him, strangely enough, even though he did his fair share of wrong too. (Weird, huh?)
You have the husband killer. Then you have the rest of them who are all disgusting pigs. The cult dude who has the harem of women. The jet ski dude who has his strip club on the side. And that Jeff guy? I almost threw something at the tv when he was talking about his wife GIVING BIRTH to his child and he is more concerned with getting her in the gym afterwards and hiring a nanny he can creep on and probably cheat with. These are disgusting vile human beings! Ugh.

There is no "probably" cheat with when it comes to Jeff and his wife's nanny. Apparently they are swingers and everyone is happy with it, including the wife.

I found it kinda hilarious how many of them in the after show also had to "clear up the record" about their non-drug use.

I watched Robert Osborne interview Peter O'Toole this weekend. Both men gone now.
It was a charming discussion full of great little anecdotes about movies, people, personal lives.
I adored Robert Osborne. I miss his presence on TCM.
He was a true scholar in movie history and I enjoyed listening to him speak. He thrived on what he did. He was passionate and cared about every aspect of movie making.
And who knew Peter could be so hilarious.

This was a documentary about Buster Keaton narrated by Peter Bogdanovich. It was very entertaining. This man was an athlete. He was sharp as a tack.
Apparently TCM has a podcast called The Plot Thickens that launches tomorrow with topic -- Peter Bogdanovich. I bet that's interesting.

I do not think wayne williams killed all those children. Can't say for certain he killed any of them. But I would damn well have convicted the 3 Klan brothers in the killing of one of the children Wayne went to prison for. There was plenty of evidence against them.

This is the story of Matthew Vandyke, an American in his mid 20s from Baltimore that went to fight in Libya in 2011. This is a very interesting story and the reaction I had was similar to when I watched Grizzly Man or Into The Wild, was this guy doing something noble or was he just bats*t crazy? Vandyke had studied the Middle east in college but that was really his only connection to the region. It's absolutely crazy how he went from a sheltered guy in his mid 20s living with his mom to fighting in Libya.

Paradise Lost ~ A three part series concerning the West Memphis Three and the horrible murders they were accused of. Very informative, and at times bizarre.
I never believed the three teenagers were guilty, and I think it's a shame they were forced to accept an Alford Plea after 20 years to regain their freedom. Personally, I always thought one of the parents was involved. Definitely a story of a horrible crime and a miscarriage of justice.
It has some bits of graphic video and photos of the crime scene......DJ, I don't think you can watch it.
