Oh man, I went through a period in high-school where I was obsessed with the song Rolling Stone. That was like 9 years ago.
I made fun of one of their songs in the "annoying songs" thread. There's something about the line "When your body's had enough of me and I'm laying flat out on the floor," that has always grossed me out! But I am a fan.
A few weeks ago I got to work before anyone else and was very loudly singing, "Sylvia's Mother," when a guy walked out of a back room - he'd been dropped off at work, so his car wasn't there.
The shame.I am a huge fan of a lot of early to late '70s soft rock - especially England Dan and John Ford Coley, Seals and Crofts, and Ambrosia.

Thank you, I was just about to post this one myself. There's NO WAY you guys could be having a tribute to Dr Hook and not include their funkiest, most bad-@ss tune!
Everyone is avoiding this one: Yes, it is questionable. IT IS totally inappropriate in this day and age. And edited to add: It is an equal opportunity offender. They offend everyone.

Well sundrop, I think you've made me "Love You Just a Little Bit More". Ha ha. Now all I have to do is find a 'Dr. Hook' song that isn't creepy. Looking. Looking. Looking. Still looking. They're all creepy! But I like the vocals on this one. And who here hasn't spent some time with their backs to the wall?
