The other night (it was actually 4am) I woke from a vivid dream that I knew immediately I would eventually share with you guys. Here it is:

I was in a club car of an old train which split through snowy mountains reminiscent of Russia or Scandanavia. The train was over a century old, probably. Some of the passengers dressed accordingly (think Agatha Christie) but others were vaguely modern. My focus when I was not staring at the white caps and plunging fir trees was on the mysterious pale face man who anchored an entire booth by what looked like a game of solitaire. He calmly flipped over cards laid before him and studied the cryptic images before him. He smirked under his black bowler. Why were his lips so thin, so white?

Next I was in a library holding a heavy white and black book with a similar image of a train on the cover. Intuitively I knew the story was about disparate travelers on a train who don't remember how or why they are on the train. The card dealer is Flagg-ian and speaks with each traveler privately as they are able to remember pieces of their past and, to their horror, their respective deaths. Can they cheat Death at a mere card game? With pleading? Bribery? At all?
This was when I awoke. It was so real.

....sounds like a hell of a movie plot, certainly more intriguing than the re-heated themes that abound currently...and as an aside, Marilyn Manson is rumored to possibly play Flagg in the rehash of The Stand....
The only thing I can think of that might've hatched this idea was images of DJ's copy of NOS4A2. I've never read it nor seen the AMC show.

....I think I can deal with a skinny Dude, better than Whoopie Pie as Mother Abagail....and your thought could be a valid dream starter...I have dreams, but seldom remember any...in a way, that bugs me....
;-D @ Whoopie Pie. LOL

I know what you mean about the dreams that slip out of the mind, like not being able to scratch an itch. Hate that.

Sounds like this movie, Cushing as Dr. Terror was playing cards (Tarot) with a sinister outcome each time.

Somebody said that if you dream about someone who's no longer in your life, then it means they're thinking about you. I have dreams about guys I went out with years ago. My family is German. Two of my exes were Dutch. Most of the others were from Slavic countries. One was a lawyer, one was an engineer and another played in the NHL. The others had unremarkable jobs. They seem to pop up randomly in dreams in no particular order. I have no idea what God is trying to tell me. I'm just trying to do well in my career at this point in my life. I will probably start an online diploma in the fall. It's pretty obvious that I will never have a happy ending like Meghan and Harry.
I dreamed that Dr. Oz was sitting at a table in a kitchen where I was with some random woman who I did not really know.

There were giant moose outside the window as well and it was winter time.

It was quite a weird dream.
