This may have been asked before but, I've been collecting King books in hardcover from various Goodwill and Thrift store. Most are in like new condition but some (Talisman, Dr. Sleep right now) have no dust jacket. Is there a market for these or reproductions somewhere? Is anyone willing to part with these if they dont want theirs? Thanks

Check with David at Betts Books. Sometimes, he is able to get various dust jackets.

The dust jacket makes up about 80-90% of the value of a collectible book. Putting a reproduction dust jacket will not increase the value of a book at all. Your best bet would be to do the options above or even try the publisher as a long shot.

Just keep checking at the Goodwills/thriftshops that you frequent. Trust me, all of King's books eventually show up. It just takes time and lots of patience. You might even get lucky like I did and score a mint hardback SIGNED copy of Insomnia and pay $1.99 for it.

1st edition Gunslinger dust jackets have been going for around $500 in mint condition. Best of luck!
