Does anyone know where I can get info on whether SK will be doing an official signing/release for End of Watch?

I told my wife that for my 40th it would be a dream come true for my family and I to drive up to Maine and take a tour of all the great spots from SKs books. Most of all to meet him and attend signing of his new book!

Is there somewhere this info would be posted so I can purchase tickets or figure out how to plan this trip?

Thanks.

...but don't count on getting in his kitchen....the were-badger that masquerades as his assistant seems to block any ploy in that direction.....
You just moved six more feet away from the kitchen door and are now out in the driveway......Marsha is watching you from the little window in the kitchen door.

We haven't made any announcements about a book tour for End of Watch but this site (both the Home page and the Message Board) is the best place to get information about book tours and appearances. You might also want to sign up for the Newsletter in case you don't visit here or the official Facebook page often.

I sure hope we get a book signing! His fans all love them (and i have Finders Keepers and Mr Mercedes signed) so i have to complete the set!

Thanks and hope to see a signing!!

We're still in the preliminary planning stages so I'll have to wait until I get the green light from Scribner before I can release any more information.

While getting to a King book signing in Maine can be incredibly difficult to schedule, taking a tour of King related places is rather easy. My wife and I stumbled across SK Tours and had an amazing time. Highly recommend checking this out if you want to go on a tour of King stuff in Maine. Stu used to run Betts Books and has an amazing knowledge of all things King. Having him drive you around "Derry" is the best time a King fan can have. Best of luck and happy 40th.

I just saw this on the main site:
StephenKing.com - Recent News: End of Watch Book Tour

The first date, June 7, just so happens to be in the city where I was born and raised and the next town over from where I currently live. Given that there is no large bookstore (like B&N) that I know of in Jersey City, I am very curious as to where he will be speaking. I am definitely going to keep my eyes open for this event.

Okay, looks like three on that list are all within the same distance from me. Roughly 5-6 hours drive to Jersey City, NJ Sewickley, PA or Charleston, WV. I have always wanted to meet SK and get a book signed by him. Does anyone know how this works? Do you need to purchase tickets or something? I assume it will only be End of Watch that he is signing, correct?

Ideally I would like to get two copies signed, one for each of my kids to keep one day.

Keep watching NEWS-- as details are confirmed, MsMod will post. SKMB is a lesson in patience. All good come to those who wait.
Each venue is usually different, so watch for details.

You'll probably only be able to get the new book signed as the lines will prohibit Steve from spending a lot of time with each fan.

Hopefully these are not multiple trip events that require you stand in line all night for tickets at the store and then come back the next week for the signing, but I'm guessing that is one likely scenario. I liked the Bridgton event where you could buy tickets in advance over the phone and then show up for the signing. No hassle other than the travel.

Do you need to also purchase the book at that event to have it signed? Or can you just bring in a previously purchased copy of End of Watch (assuming it is released before the tour starts). Yeah, I understand him not being able to spend too much time. Would be awesome to get all three in the Trilogy signed.

Usually the hosting bookstore/event place demands that you buy the book from them. Usually you can pre-pay for the book when you ask about tickets.

That has been the drill on the most recent tours. Strictly enforced with military like precision. They even took purses away from the little old ladies in Maine to make sure no one carried a book in. I never understood why you couldn't purchase the book from the store holding the event to get your ticket but then get one book of your own choosing signed. But I have gave up arguing the logic of that approach where everyone leaves happy.
