A strong debut, in my opinion, for the book.

According to Publishers Weekly, End of Watch sold over 76,000 cumulative copies for data through June 12. It is at the top of both the hardcover fiction and overall lists. It is the latter which is most impressive. I can't supply a link because it will eventually change, but you can check the site at this time to see the stats (and although it is not up now, there should be an analysis of the book's sales in context with everything else at some point).

End of Watch has now hit 145,000 units in terms of sales, according to Publishers Weekly. The mass market paperback of Finders Keepers is at 96,000 units.

End of Watch is now over 163,000 units. As far as I see, Finders Keepers is now off the list.

End of Watch is now over 220,000 units (as of August 28, I think). Doctor Sleep mass market paperback, by the way, is over 30,000.

Just to put some context to Watch -- for this time period, the book seems to be doing very well relative to other books in the marketplace based on a quick perusal of the stats. If it were twenty-five or thirty years ago, the number probably would be higher, obviously, but actually, I think the book can definitely be considered a solid success. (Of course, keep in mind that some books will now be released at this time period that will most likely overtake Watch -- just the way it is.)
