i loved the book! I have absolutely loved the trilogy as a whole. It was fascinating to me to watch Brady transform throughout while still remaining that evil person you first read about. Agreeing with another post, I definitely think the end was rushed. There was a ton of things that could've been said at the end that were left out.
a Pete trilogy or book would be amazing and I would enjoy the characters I don't know how he would be able to top such an amazing trilogy.

I agree. I think another decent book could be one in connection to this because I personally wanna know about what ends up happening with Holly and Jerome.
In my opinion, EOW ended where it needed to end. It felt right. I hope the trilogy ends there because any more would feel forced. Now, if SK felt the muse to carry on with crime fiction it would need new characters.

I agree with both of you :) Trilogy's that have ended should not be resurrected, but if Holly and Pete move to another State to start their detective agency and make new friends, I'd be happy happy happy :) I really hope SK isn't off his crime fiction kick yet :)

Do y'all ever watch iZombie? I always think of Detective Babineaux as an SK character :)

Call it good. King is not a writer of detective fiction. There are plenty of great writers in that genre. A trilogy feels just right. If the characters ever get revisited, maybe do it in a short story that provides some closure on how things worked out.

That's what I think. A short story would be great to read about it. I don't think what they'll be doing in a the future will be as good as any of the books. I wouldn't be surpris d to see a short story.

I can see Holly and Pete starting another trilogy. That would be good news for us. I've never seen iZombie.

With no connection to EoW. I really want to know what Jerome ends up doing with his life. And I haven't seen it either. Is it good?

iZombie is a The CW network show. The third season begins sometimes this Fall. All the characters have distinct personalities which is why I'm reminded of SK's characters. I loved it that all the characters in End of Watch had their own individual personality, some with more quirks than others lol. The book I'm reading now, by another author, is good - it's written beautifully, but most of the characters have the same personality so I keep getting them confused with each other. That never happens when I'm reading one of SK's novels :)

I thoroughly enjoyed End Of Watch and thought End Of Watch was the best of the three. As far as the trilogy, I thought the sum was greater than the parts. After Mr Mercedes, I was a little skeptical of this needing to be a trilogy but I think the entire series taken as a whole made each book a little better (if that makes any sense ;-D).

That does make sense lol. I thought Mr Mercedes was a complete adventure without the need of a sequel but I wanted more stories about Hodge and Holly so I was happy Finders Keepers came along and then End of Watch tied it up beautifully :)
