Glad I'm not the only one scratching my head about the Oswald accent. Maybe he's overthinking it, after all Oswald did just get back from a place where he was speaking Russian for 2 years, but still, it's distracting, makes him sound like he's tongue-tied or something. And he looks absolutely nothing like Oswald, even the hair color is just wrong. The first real disappointment of the series for me.
I can see why they needed a sidekick from a narrative information standpoint, but it does deflate a lot of the tension that was in the original story, and takes away from the precariousness of changing the past. If the past doesn't want to be changed, then why was it so easy to tell and convince the guy he was from the past and trying to prevent JFK's assassination? I'm okay with changes from the original story, but they still should make sense within the logical boundaries the new story has created, so a bit of a slip there, in my opinion.
Still, it's a very enjoyable series, they really nailed the seedy look of Oswald's neighborhood, pretty much how I imagined it as I was reading! And though I'll never look at this TV Sadie as the real Sadie, I'm rooting for their relationship to work out!
