...I'm with you buddy...don't remember that a'tall...Welcome! Is this something that's written in the Calla book? I don't remember seeing it and if it's in there it slipped past me (and possibly all the rest of us Tower junkies).
Different place on the Tower. The geography is also different in other spots, i.e. his description of Detroit(?--if I'm remembering correctly) doesn't match up with the keystone Detroit.Anybody ever wonder if there was any significance with Father Callahan coming from an America that had 42 continental states instead of 48?
I'm almost afraid to ask but sure, what's the hint?I know the answer to this.................Would you all like a hint?

Got it! And got it!
The hint lies in this line that king zep posted.............."Maybe instead of forty-two continental United States on the other side of the Hudson..............
The ten states which would have formed the confederacy, in that reality succeeded. Southern States on the other side of the Hudson.
Being a Brit please forgive my ignorance of American geography, but are you saying thatOr the 6 New England states that are on the other (east) side of the Hudson, combined with the 42 to the west make the 48.
Being a Brit please forgive my ignorance of American geography, but are you saying that
if Callaghan was crossing the Hudson with his back to New York he would have 42 states in front of him and 6 behind him?
