Hello Everyone,
I am new to this board but not new to the works of SK.
For years, I have found little character quirks in SK's stories that stay with me long after I've closed the book. For example, for months after finishing The Talisman, I would finish my sentences by screaming, "Wolf!" (Yes, everyone thought I was quite the loon.) Of course, for those of you in the know, that is what Jack Sawyer's friend Wolf always said.
One day, I was baking cookies and got distracted by a phone call. When the burning smell grabbed by attention, I dropped the phone and came running only to find my cookies more closely resembled meteorites. I stood there shaking my and and said, "Done bun can't be undone." -- thank you so very much Ralph Roberts (Insomnia) for that accurate assessment, now get out of my head!
So, I am interested in knowing if anyone else is haunted by SK's characters. What quirks do you remember? What do they say to you?
