I need to apologize for (probably) the majority of my quotes not being verbatim as they should be.
I'm functioning off memory alone. I can't look things up like I used to.
I lost my entire Sk collection. It's gone. Due to an accident with a well meaning relative and cardboard boxes. Long story.
Just saying this because I really don't like it when I don't get the quotes down right.

I've moved this out of the Insomnia thread into the General Discussions area as the favorite Stephen King lines have expanded beyond Insomnia.
The last line in the movie Stand By Me is one of the best movie lines EVER!. “I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?” I haven’t read The Body... Is that line, or something like it, in the book?
Bev may have to answer this as it's been so long since I read the story and don't have a digital copy to look up the quote easily.
It's been a while since I read The Body so I just checked the last few pages there, that quote isn't in it, must have been added just for the movie.
That's the first place I looked as well, but thought it might be possible that the quote was somewhere else in the book even though it was at the end in the movie.
