Okay, I tried to watch this again but I gave up again!! Maybe I just keep comparing it to TWD and it just doesn't measure up for me. I don't know, but I'm sticking with the original show.

Apparently the writers of FTWD are familiar with King, and will be relying on option three this season.

They made a good trailer though.
If we just watch the trailers, it will save us a lot of time.
,I wish I could care about these characters. (I keep rooting for the Walkers to eat them). I know that is not how you are supposed to watch the show. I didn't watch the Marathon too much like torture. C'mon, I just feel that they can make an interesting show that is not the Walking Dead. I know I am prejudice, but I literally love the Walking Dead.
One part in this last episode I thought was funny (unintentionally) was when the lady hugged Nick and kissed him on the cheek when he had walker guts all over his clothes and face. I was thinking, "Yuck, who would do that?"
I guess another funny part was when the bad guys who were shooting at the walkers, let them get so close as to eat them.
I couldn't force myself to watch most of the marathon, I can't make myself care about the characters either. It feels like just a cheap rip-off of the original show to make money.
I saw a think the other day that showed all the different roles Cliff Curtis (Junkie Depp's step dad) has done over the years, and I was just floored. I've seem most of them, and didn't recognize him at all. He's a really good actor! So why they do NOTHING with him in this show is a mystery to me.

I watched the first season and the first couple of episodes of season 2, but just couldn't make myself watch it after that. Might be different if we still had a DVR or on-demand for AMC.
I have both, and it didn't make any difference for me.
How this bunch of people are some of the last survivors on earth in the zombie apocalypse doesn’t say much for humanity.
I felt the same way in TWD when everyone was whispering so as not to attract zombies, then Beth starts singing.
Beth is dead. One thing about TWD is stupid doesn't survive. I doubt we’ll be lucky enough to see Madison and Victor follow suit.
Did the show ever follow up on Tobias?
Nah. I think he was just a sad sack one shot, to show that not everyone was caught unprepared. This show seems very much to be tweaked toward teens, so he's the obligatory, "Grown-ups are so CLUELESS, amiright?" character that shows up in most teen shows.
The only character that seems to have any common sense is Alicia... a teenage girl. Talk about breaking stereotypes.
Yup.
This is a teen-centric show, like The 100, Shadowhunters, Between,etc. No big thing, there are plenty of other shows to watch out there. I'll finish this season because I paid for it (lol--I don't like to waste money), but then I'm done.
