I saw that coming a mile away. The final scene with Madison and Walker was pretty cool, though.

I agree, this season was much better. Still miles behind The Walking Dead, though.

When that guy found the yacht, all I could think was, Dear God. Please don't let the next half of the season be back on that damn boat. Sooooo borrrring! I was glad he torched it. ;-D

I agree with you guys, Season 3 has definitely stepped up the game. I hardly like any of the characters though. I'm kinda, sorta liking Madison because she is becoming the shows badass but she's no Carol! Alicia is ok. Still can't stand Nick.
Nick at least looks his age with hair cut. However, there were plenty of scissors around to cut..

I was also glad that he(Victor Strand) left his Yacht but
his Conversation with this Russian Cosmonaut was great.

Just seen S2, since it finally came to Amazon Prime. And, you know what? I kind of preferred it to the main series.
Granted, I binged FTWD in a way I don't get to with TWD so maybe that makes the difference, but I was more able to overlook the obviously dumb stuff that certain characters did.
That said, I do still struggle with the characters. Madison gets on my nerves more than most, but Nick tends to grate as well. The rest...hm, I can mostly live with, though I wouldn't exactly be distraught if they copped it, either.
One thing I really didn't like was the stuff with the dogs. For one thing, it didn't seem right. A pair of starving Alsatians would attack ol' Skinny Ribs, fair enough. They might even attack a lone walker. But a horde? No, they wouldn't have gone near. Those dogs were survivors and they had to have encountered hordes before. Had they gone near one, they would have been killed well before they finally were. I mean, I know why the writers did it the way they did, given Nick's subsequent zombie shuffle, but...hmm.

It's kind of weird that Troy was one of my favorite characters. ;-D He did a lot of horrible things but at least he was interesting. That brother of his was a bore fest.
I agree. He might have been the good guy, but he wasn't boring.

I just keep waiting for a zombie to fall on Madison.

And, do we know who the crossover character is going to be from TWD? I have my guesses.
