It's gonna be directed by Mike Flanagan, director of Oculus. I haven't seen Oculus yet, but heard mostly very positive things about it.
When they film one of your favoutites, chances are you're gonna love it when they take an approach that fits with your own perception of the book or you're gonna totally hate it. So I'm prepared to be disappointed if it's not what I'd like to see.
I can't wait to see who they cast as Jessie though and what visual and dramatic approach they take when it's mostly someone alone in a room with very little interaction with other characters. There's lots of flashbacks obviously, but the main action is very, very limited.
I also hope this isn't one of those that gets cancelled as we had with a lot of them in recent years or gets shelved like Mercy.
