I am about 3/4 the way through this already :( I love getting a new book from SK but I hate that I cant control the fact that a finish them in about a week every time!!! We need something along the length of the stand or insomnia!!! I love the pace of finders keepers though and really like the fact that the first half was usual SK where its a bit slow but still interesting and keeps you reading and then at one point it just hits the ground running and then starts sprinting, what am I going to do when I finish this in the next few days though?!?!?! :( I haven't read everything of his yet so I may have to go visit something old.... maybe finally get back to the dark tower...

I am 2/3 of the way through. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's not that it's uninteresting, but I certainly don't have any trouble putting it down. Sometimes I have to remind myself to pick it back up after 4 or 5 days to read some more. I'm not bored with it or anything, it's just not a story that sucks me in where I have to read it at white hot speed and there doesn't seem to be a lot going on for long periods. But then, I was the same way reading Revival too. I am really hoping it's not any changes in me that are making me less avid in my reading. That would be a scary thought, but the last 3 books including Mr. Mercedes were all books that I read at a very leisurely pace with no desire to fly through them and see what happens immediately, which is how I used to feel with every new SK book. I think the last book I felt that with was Joyland.
