I miss something? Why August?
In another thread I stated that my wife controls the traditional breaking of the spine for any new SK novel (under penalty of death). She'll read the inside back cover tonight, and then plans on putting it away for our vacation at the end of July. That means I won’t get my hands on it until August.

Ms Mod’s suggestion is I just buy a bunch and hand them out all willy nilly. (I think she should be promoted to Personal Assistant/Book Pusher) :)

Got my pre-order ebook from Barnes and Noble delivered yesterday, then promptly fell asleep on the couch last night before I could start the book. I'm friggin' old......Read a few pages this morning while eating breakfast before work, seems good so far. I caught that "suck you in during the first few pages" vibe right off the bat, but I expected no less from the man, the myth, the legend himself.

I managed to get 50 pages done before I got too sleepy to read. Then I put on a movie and slept through that until time to go to bed.

I loved the first 50 though.
