Hi All,

I guess we all have to start somewhere so here it goes.. My first exposure to SK was in the early 80's with the book "Skeleton Crew" which hooked me. Since then I have read multiple books, short story collections and watched quite a few made for TV movies based on SK books. When Mr. Mercedes came out I gobbled that down and waited for the second installment. Once that was done my youngest son Chad purchased the final book "End of Watch" for me for Christmas. Little did I know that this book would be a foreshadowing of a parents worst nightmare this past September. One reason I was even poking around anything Steven King related, and signed up for this site was to possibly send a thank you to him for having concern for this subject. (yes, I am being very vague on this knowing that some people have yet to read the book) So, even though I would give anything to have my story end differently than it did, I really appreciate SK and his heart for this issue.
We move on, this looks like a well managed site and I hope I can be a part of it.

Welcome Jeff! We're happy to have you. We have a handy SPOILER button if you want to say something that gives plot points of a story away. Just highlight the text and click on the Button on the toolbar. Or, you can place the tags before [ SPOILER ] (no spaces) the text and the editor will magically close the tag.

Jump on in and welcome to the Tet.

Hi Jeff and Welcome aboard! I remember my first time as well! I've never done social media, don't have a wireless phone, and I facebooked my twitter with instachat so I think it's broken. Once I learn all the ins and outs of the SKMB I'll move on to, oh I don't know, direct dialing or distributing a circular that contains literature. Throughout it all I will continue to read the Kingmeister Extraordinairre! All the best, mal.
