This is my first thread and I wish I had known about this online community of like minded people. I love SK but I also enjoy many authors that SK himself has enjoyed like H.P. Lovecraft, Bram Stoker, Robert Bloch, and a bunch of other mythos/cult/supernatural fiction authors. Anyways, I would like to talk about that, for example how different and alike Dracula is too Salem's Lot. How fiction has passed from writer to writer for centuries and how its evolved. I wonder who will follow SK for he himself has followed many others.

Okay sweet, here's a question/discussion for anyone that has read SK's novel "Insomnia". Not going to give away anything but tell me if I am wrong or right or confused or blah blah whichever, but the supernatural/heightened sensory experience that Ralph Roberts goes through several times in the book. I can't help but feel that SK literally described a powerful LSD trip. Not accusing him of anything nor am I implying anything about me *wink* *wink*. If you've read it trust, you'll know what I mean lololololol.

....I think you're probably right, cuz the Inkslinger has mentioned more than once that he sampled the "pretty colors"...
