I'm in the soapy group.

I don't like corn chips, these ones.

th

They smell weird, and makes me open mouth breathe if I had one. Stinky.
I think nacho cheese Doritos smell like barf.

My daughter feels the same way about tomatoes. George Carlin described them as still being in the larval stage.

Me, I'll eat a truly fresh, ripe one like an apple. But better than an apple, because there's no core.
Like an apple is a bit much for me,but when I was a kid,and we had a garden, fresh tomatoes, chilled in the fridge and then sliced and on homemade bread with a bit of mayo..we didn't have a lot back then,so stretching a dollar was good, and that was a nice treat I still remember..

:waaaht: whaaat? Ok. I will try, with a side one.
Long ago (and far away) I lived with my sister in a small town north of Seattle. There was a Mom and Pop hamburger stand and they served coleslaw as one of their sides. It was delicious! Anyway, my sister asked how they made it as she loved it. They wouldn't tell her. Family recipe and all that. We would go there to eat once a week and each time my sister would ask again for the recipe. Finally, after quite a few months, the 'Mrs.' broke down and told my sister. It was rather a let down as we were both expecting some kind of exotic ingredient. But, whenever my sis made it she would always put in the pineapple juice!!

Fish- too many meals on Fridays and Holy Days. Shrimp, raw clams, oysters.
You live in FL and don't like seafood? :) Ha,me either, for me,it was fishsticks usually on days of obligation..got right tired of them. After I had some meat on Friday when I was grown and out of the house, and figured God could care if I had a hamburger, the fish pretty much went out the window.I just don't like that fishy taste, tried several times and just doesn't get it done for me.On the shellfish, years ago I had a dozen or so steamed clams, with butter, and OMG I got an attack of gout like crazy..couldn't bend my knee for a week.[/QUOTE]

Yep. Duke's is an NC brand. It's the only mayo I'll eat.
I blackberry jam I buy is from Bama.....do you think it's the same?
I've never seen Golden Flake potato chips.
OK guys these posts on mayo must stop immediately.

To begin my first wife, again still married to her just like to irritate, has banned it from my immediate diet.

Second someone mentioned eating just tomato and mayo on a sandwich because times were tough. When we had tomatoes those WERE the good times. In my youth I had to eat several mayonnaise sandwiches. At least we always had pinto beans and taters.

Thirdly Duke's mayonnaise is based in Greenville SOUTH CAROLINA.

Us Tarheels cannot take credit for that food stuff. We can claim however to have given the world everything from Pepsi to Texas Pete(yeah that is right) to Hardees to Bojangles to Golden Corral to the best of them all Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Not to mention a really fine college basketball team. (Not the one in Durham either)

No wonder I had a 100% blockage.

(Not really said it was hereditary)
