WTH - The Dolphins just traded Jay Ajayi to the Eagles for a 4th round pick.

I don't know why they would trade him in the first place but I think he's more valuable than a 4th round pick.
Someone in my break room said it would work out OK for the Dolphins because Ajayi knees are going. Not sure where he got his info, but still, there you go!

Ohhh. I'm sorry.
I'm running out of sports to watch. I gave up on Nascar after last season, Federer can't hang in there forever (tennis) and now the NFL is off the table. I really will have to start doing something productive with my time.

I still can't believe New England traded Jimmy G.
What will happen if there's - gods forbid! - an injury
To the GOAT, Tom Brady, and it's worse than just a bruise?
I can tell you what will happen then... We're gonna lose.

I'm aware Garoppolo would like a chance to play
As the starting quarterback before he's old and gray.
At the rate that Brady's going, that won't happen here...
Still, I wish the Patriots had waited 'til next year.

I know Belichick's a genius... Yes, in Bill I trust.
But, it's still a lot to ask some new guy to adjust
To the Pats, where he'd require more than just an arm...
Please dear sports gods, hear my prayer and shelter Tom from harm.

(Not that I am not already praying for the team
But the sports gods haven't listened to me, it would seem,
With so many crucial players on the injured list.)
Still... Good luck Garoppolo! I hope you won't be missed.

I'm really nervous about the Garoppolo trade also. What the heck happens if Brady does get hurt (please, please, please don't let this happen)? Do we have anyone that can function as a QB? Jimmy G is a really good QB and I thought was next in line.

Glad the Patriots dealt Garoppolo That makes them one injury away from disaster this season.

Unfortunately for my Jets, Belichick will probably take that second round pick in 2018, package it and move up to take a quarterback to develop for the year 2075, when Tom Brady retires.

Will the Patriots sign Brian Hoyer when the 49ers release him?

Reportedly already signed to a 2 year deal. He was in NE before so it makes sense.

Roger Goodell is mad because he has been offered a non guaranteed contract with incentives. This sounds a lot like the contracts that football players get. ;-D

A person who spoke recently with Goodell said the commissioner is “furious” about Jones’ and other owners’ insistence that his next contract’s compensation should be more performance-based, including incentives that would allow him to be paid at roughly the same level of his current deal. “He feels as if the owners have made a lot of money and he should be compensated accordingly,” the source said. “The incentives thing really angers him.”
