My predictions

New England over Jacksonville 30-16

Philadelphia over Minnesota 21-20 (Nick Foles is going to the Super Bowl - just think, either Nick Foles or Case Keenum is going to be a starting Super Bowl QB. Who would have predicted that?)
I'm picking the Pats, also. And if my picking luck holds out, Jacksonville will pull out a win over New England. Isn't everyone sick of seeing NE in the Super Bowl? :)

Go Eagles!!!

I checked the weather for Philadelphia this weekend and it looks pretty good (of course that could change at any time). I was kind of hoping for a snow game.

I don't think Jacksonville is unbeatable by any means, but I can't help wondering about some of the play calls Mike Tomlin and the Steelers made during that game. My ears are still ringing a bit from listening to my fiancee exclaim her.....disappointment in the Steelers performance. It's very difficult to look like the concerned, "Damn, I'm sorry your team didn't win" fiance when you're secretly gleeful at the Steelers demise....lol

Nah, never get tired of seeing the Pats take the Lombardi trophy:) Jacksonville will definitely put them to the test, they've got a good team, well balanced.

WTH happened to Pittsburgh's defense? Jacksonville's offense has not been anything to be feared. Pittsburgh gave up 45 at home.

EDIT: I checked Jacksonville's record and they were a higher scoring team this season than I thought. They averaged 26 a game which is pretty good.

Poor Vikings. No ‘Millie Miracle’ in Philly. The push for 99-year-old Vikings fan 'Millie to Philly' didn’t work. She declined the invitation and isn’t going. Instead, the best Vikings' good luck charm of all time will be going to the Super Bowl to see Philadelphia play Jacksonville. :)

They also pretty much dominated the Steelers in week 5, something like 35-9. I noticed they play a lot of cover 2 and cover 3 D, the middle of the field was open on almost every play. Brady will kill them if they stick with that, he usually picks defenses like that apart, but I'm sure the Jags will probably mix it up also to keep Brady guessing.

I missed the action, but I'm told that the last 4 minutes of the Vikings/Saints game was the best football the NFL has seen in a while.

I'm torn about pulling for the Jaguars, because while I'd really like to see them win a Superbowl, I don't want them to do before the Panthers.
Still, I'm a anybody but the Patriots kind of fan, and will be cheering for their opposing team....whomever that might be.

Steelers lost because they didn’t take their opposition seriously and were looking ahead to the AFC championship. They should know better. Sad way for Big Ben to go out if he retires in the off-season.

Jacksonville is already making public declarations that they will get to and win the Super Bowl. C’mon guys, act like you’ve been there before.....
