Silly Jaguars. Looking ahead to the Super Bowl instead of focusing on the game at hand. You think they would have known better considering that is precisely why they beat the Steelers.

Now the Eagles are saying they want to beat up Pretty Boy Brady. Act like you've been there before, guys.

Hopefully, Gronk will be able to play in two weeks. Not that the Pats need him to win but it sure helps.

I was cracking up at the some the Jaguars smack talking. I'm all about being competitive but smack talking the Pats? I guess that's one way to psych yourselves up for the game but it's a long drop if you don't live up to the hype...lol.

Smack talk is one thing. But saying you have "every advantage" over Gronk? That's just delusional!

The Patriots are a team most everyone hates and the Eagles have fans most everyone hates. Looks like it will be a hate-filled Super Bowl.

I remember a couple years ago going down to Philadelphia to see an Eagles/Jets preseason game. I wore my Tim Tebow Jets jersey and a Phillies baseball cap. The baseball cap was insurance as I'm familiar with Philadelphia fans (I root for the Eagles in the NFC as they’re both our family's team, and have been to about as many Eagles games as I’ve been to Jets games). All the Eagles fans around me were viscous, but I kept things lighthearted and funny... Plus the fact that the Eagles crushed the Jets helped. I remember an Eagles office representative came up to me in the seats and was joking with me about my attire, and how I was doing battle with all the little kids in the seats around me. He had seen the kids and me going at it on the jumbotron and wanted to stop by as we had everyone laughing. He told me I was wearing the wrong shade of green. :)

Yes, Philly fans celebrated their AFC Championship appearance by beating the crap out of each other in the parking lot yesterday. Way to go :facepalm_smiley:

Now, NE fans are obnoxious. Philly fans on the other hand take it to a whole other level.......

The College Football season is over. Ended Monday night. I think the National Championship game was wildly entertaining even though I was a bit pessimistic as Alabama faced a 13 point deficit twice throughout the game. I wasn't sure they could come back. I thought the Tide was doomed until Nick Saban pulled his 25-2 starting quarterback after halftime for a freshman that had never started a college game before.

But it worked and Nick Saban earned his 6th title tying Bear Bryant. I do hope Nick doesn't consider retirement any time soon.

Beating the crap out of each other is a regular weekend occurrence in Philadelphia. I go to Philly about six times a year... The same for NYC. I dread the trip to Philly every time... not so for NYC.

I will be watching to see if NE can win a 6th title. I remember the bad old days when the Pats were lucky to get six wins a season! They will be morphing back to that state within the next 2 - 5 years. Not even the GOAT can beat Father Time.
If they win it all this year, if I'm Brady and Belichick I'm riding off into the sunset as the most dominating coach/QB combo in NFL history. Next year they will most likely be losing 3 assistant coaches and that will make it tough to remain competitive, although if anyone can do it, Belichick can. But, you've done everything you can ever possibly want to do as far as solidifying your legacy so why not ride out into the sunset on top of your game, ya' know?

You're just trying to make me feel better with that Brady and Belichick riding off into the sunset talk. :D
