I think Foles can probably write his own ticket and will go elsewhere...but hopefully he is smarter about it than Osweiler was with the Broncos. (He was not the mvp, but otherwise similar situation.)
No way Brady and Belechick go out on a loss. Brady is still at the very top of his game. Both teams played well, it was a good game. Just didn't go their way.
Gronk may be done, though.
I don’t know about Belichick being back. He’s losing his core coaching staff. McDaniels and Patricia are gone. Rumors are Judge may also go. And Scarnecchia, 70 years old, already retired in 2013 but came back in 2016... Can Belechick convince him to go one more year? How many of the other coaches will McDaniels and Patricia take with them? And he has a an old prima donna quarterback with no real viable backup. That’s a lot to overcome.

I think Gronk will be back if he can renegotiate and get a lot more money over his contract amounts for the next two years.

Maybe the Pats can hire Jeff Fisher as their offensive coordinator. ;-D

I've had no comment because Grandma and I didn't watch the game. I was fresh back home, and we just had other relaxation things that we wanted to do. (Note: The Netflix series "Marvel Defenders" is pretty good so far.)

But there's lots of fallout, cheerful and not, from friends. Not to stray to HT, but there's at least three aspects where it's heavily politicized in my FB newsfeed. And of course, my PA friends are ecstatic, my NE friends not so much. Yay and sorry, respectively.

Please tell me that Ms. Bundchen did not imply to her kids that their dad "let" the Eagles win.

Man, the noise-to-signal ratio is really high these days.

Hadn't heard anything about Gisele implying to her kids that Brady let the Eagles win. That would be silly if she did so. Only thing I've heard is that she stopped and congratulated every Eagles player she encountered after the game.

Hoodie has both of his sons on the coaching staff. He won't leave voluntarily until he transitions his role to one of them.

Patricia would have been fired after the SB if he wasn't already going to the Lions. The Pats "defense" was a horror-show to start the year and didn't get much better as was glaringly obvious in the SB. Surprised Detroit didn't rescind their offer.

As for our QB, yeah a back up is needed. I was surprised that both Brissett and Jimmy G were traded. But at 40 Brady is still better than 95% of QBs the league. Unless there is steep drop off next season I think they will be fine a long as they draft a QB or sign an above average QB via free agency. I think next year is Brady's last regardless of what he says about playing into his mid-40s. He just won the MVP award and shattered SB QB records on Sunday. No real skill slippage yet.

Here are a couple of links. I'm sure she was trying to comfort them, but maybe could have worded it better.

Hadn't seen that. Could have been worded better I guess. Taken out of context I can see how it would get blown out of proportion.
Yes, as a mother talking to your crying children, you aren't always thinking how would this sound to outsiders. You just want to make them ok again. I would not welcome being in that never ending spotlight.
