Maybe a good way to learn french ? :D
I would think so. I'm from Canada, which is officially French/English bilingual. I was a victim of French teaching policies on the English speaking prairies back in the '70's. I used to be able to tell you how to take the l'autobus to the discotheque, but I can't even do that anymore! Immersion and exposure is the best way (along with study...study on it's own is less sufficient). It is a language I have wanted to know all my life (that and Spanish). I ran out of time. It would be cool to see how a french version of an SK book is presented, after having have read the english one. Especially if there has been more than one translator over the years.

An old schoolmate of mine, who was proficient in French (Canada Quebecois variety), got a techy job in Paris, France. He worked there for a few years before coming back home. He said he was derided and kidded about his backwoods hillbilly French. :)
