The phone next to the double bed warbles.Janey answers, converses briefly, hangs up.“That was Aunt Charlotte. She suggests the Fun Crew meet for breakfast in twenty minutes.

What is Fun Crew?
Here the Aunt means herself, Henry and Holly, or them three and Janey and Hodges? Why does she use Fun Crew?

Hmm, haven't read the story since it was first released, but I'm guessing it was just a playful term to describe the group as a whole. It was probably said in a facetious manner, in an attempt to lighten an uncomfortable situation, since Charlotte, Henry, and Holly weren't the easiest of people to get along with. I can imagine it was Janey who used the term "Fun Crew", not Aunt Charlotte. I may be wrong, though.

It's not clear from the text, but it sounds to me like Janey is using the term 'Fun Crew', not the Aunt. She's being a little sarcastic and droll: it's obvious that Aunt Charlotte and the rest of her family are not fun at all.
