Her great granddaughter was born 1 1/2 weeks ago, weighing 480 gm. She was due August 22. The baby’s mom, who I have never met, started a Facebook blog to keep the family up to date on progress. The posts are written by the baby, and with such humour. Yesterday’s post started like this: “goood morning everyone!! you’ll never guess what i’m doing today! i’m getting a very early start on my modelling career! someone is coming to take some pictures of me and my mommy and daddy to put on a website they are creating to help families in the NICU! i bet there’s not too many 24 weekers that get to say they’re a model!”
Baby is doing well and has gained 70 gm.
I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to share her pictures, but here is one picture to give you an idea of the baby’s size. The big diaper is a preemie diaper. The little one is the one this baby is wearing....and it’s huge on her.
