Hi everyone,
I did go to the dr last Friday for my headaches and he was concerned about my blood pressure. I balked at being put on medication because I was in pain, had been in constant pain plus popping all kinds of otc medication for the headaches. He agreed to let me monitor it for a few days at home.
It has consistently remained high though. I called to tell the dr and he sent a prescription to the pharmacy. Before calling me back or even discussing it with me.
I have had Scott and Brandon on my butt about being stubborn and that has caused some stress but it really bothers me, scares me, really, that the Dr just decided I need this. Period.
Could you guys please keep me in your thoughts? I am worried and scared about it all. Which I know does not help. But I am a natural worrier.

Done! I completely understand your hesitancy about the meds but high blood pressure that doesn't let up and with the headache sounds worse. (((Tina)))
(((Tina))) Sending you good vibes. One thought. Take the meds for a few days and see how you feel. Stop them immediately and call your doc if you feel worse, but I'm hoping that you feel better! It's the long weekend coming up, so keep us posted via your profile or the Playground!! Big hugs!!!

Hoping you feel better - it's hard to find the right medication and dose sometimes. My doctor has me on amlodipine - glad to hear you're getting that blood pressure under control! Good for you
How are you doing?
I am doing ok. BP is not coming down very much, has still been pretty high so yesterday the Dr said to start taking 2 pills a day. Started that today. Had to call again this morning about a possible side effect. Waiting to hear back.
....I'm here if you need anything else hun.....it is akin to sorcery sometimes to find the right mix of medication to help the body....
You stay true to you. You are your own advocate and you know when things aren't right. Be well our little cat.
