What a terrifying event! I am so sorry this happened to her -- so glad her parents found her quickly and everyone was in place that night to save her. God is great. Continued prayers for great days ahead!

Did they find out why such a young person had a stroke? What was the underlying cause?
Thank you, and everybody, for your kind words.. I believe they are going to be doing tests, microscopic examination of the clot, etc to investigate the cause. She has always enjoyed good health like most persons her age, it is a mystery. Here is a photo, she only had to be at the hospital for about two days in total, I like to think the light curving in the window and landing on her head is a healing vibe from God..

Yesterday morning at 3 a.m., my sister and brother-in-law found my niece on the floor of the bathroom, not responding.. she was taken by ambulance to the local hospital and then flown to a City Hospital, where she was taken to surgery for a stroke. She's only 25 years old and the picture of health, it was so shocking that this happened. The doctors were able to remove the clot and clean up area where it lodged, restore her functions, and as of this writing is back home.. the doctors said it was a true miracle, there appears to be no lasting damage, they called it the Lazarus effect. I just thank God and all the medical people involved, for saving this lovely young woman, before she's even had a chance to experience all that life has to offer.. so relieved..☺
Thankful prayers! ((((Mike, niece and family))))

Asking for prayers for a dear friend who lost her parents over a 3 day period last weekend. Her mom to cancer and her father to an argument with her brother. The family is numb.
This is mind numbing to hear. I'm trying to read between the lines here, so the mom died from cancer, dad died from violence???? and brother is now in jail? Just overwhelming for your dear friend. I send her strength and clarity for the tough days ahead.

Wow - just seeing this now - glad to see that she is doing much better- saying a prayer that there will be no complications - so young to have this happen!

Have they figured out what the heck? She's adorable by the way.
:)Thank you she is.. the nearest they can figure is she was overdoing things physically. They have animals, and she was lifting heavy hay bales, bags of feed, etc, which would be no big deal for a big man like me, but she is so much smaller..besides that she works full time, I guess they are very busy in her office, in fact some of her co workers were texting her saying the place was falling apart without her there, being nice, but she is a driven kid and needs the rest..my sister was a bit cheesed off at them for that, but you know how it is when well meaning people say or do things that really isn't the best for someone.. anyhow, the doctors expect full recovery with no lasting effects, thank the Lord..

Oh, I'm one of those well meaning people who puts my foot in it all the time.

I'm sure it was just their way of saying how important she is to them and how much they miss her. But, a driven kid looks at that like, "Oh man! I need to get back to help these fools!":p

Will she have to be on meds? What is her risk for this happening again? I am so thankful she made a full recovery and is strong and healthy now!
