Good morning, happy Hump Day!
Things are nuts around here. I had my checkup Friday. All good. Thyroid good, this is the first year in many that I have not had to switch medicine dose. All my other numbers were good too. Got my flu shot and I know they say you do not get sick from them but I am congested again. Probably not related but for crying out loud am I ever sick of being sick!
Scott also took a giant step backwards and got super sick again and was coughing up blood. Another Dr visit, he is on prednisone and cough syrup with codeine now. Took a chest xray and doc said it looked ok, nothing scary or bad going on that he could tell but he was sending the xray to radiology to double check. They called yesterday at closing time and left a message to call back so if course there was no answer but surely it is all ok since they did not call til closing time? Anyway if you could spare some good thoughts that the xray is all clear I would appreciate it.
Whatever this stinking bug is we have I wish it would just leave. Kids have all been ok, sniffles and mild cough but nothing close to how hard it has gotten us.
Alison broke her rebuilt front tooth off around Halloween with one of those infernal caramel apple lollipops. Dentist looked it over and said we needed to decide what to do, she has obviously grown since breaking it at age 7. So her bottom teeth need a bit shaved off in order to rebuild the top tooth correctly, to the right size in relation to her other teeth. I pray it does not cause even more problems down the road. Good thoughts for that situation too please. We are going in later today to have all that done.
I am trying to power through because Thanksgiving is coming and my dad will be here and I am so looking forward to it.
