Hello,

Stephen King is my favorite writer for about 30 years but I hadn't ever thought that I could see him really, so I was amazed when I heard that he would go to Paris in November ! From Geneva, where I live, Paris is a little far away but with the TGV (very fast French train), the trip lasts 3 hours and half, so I could go to Paris two times during this great week : on 13th when he signed his books at the MK2, and the 16th for the show at the Grand Rex.

It was absolutly great, even better than I hoped : I could have my book signed (I had chosen "The Gunsliger") ! I was very nervous and moved when I was in front of him, I could hardly speak - even in french ;) I offered to him a box of chocolates (it's a speciality in Switzerland) and his reaction was great, enthusiastic and very kind. By the way, his kindness has been noticed by everybody : readers like me who met him, journalists, and people who watched him on TV.

3 days later I went to Paris again for the Grand Rex, and that was again a dream : King was smiling, funny, very cool and at the same time he said very interesting things about his writing, his choices, even his projects...

I really hope that he will come back to France, or anywhere in Europe, it was such a pleasure for everybody !

(Sorry for my english, I hope that it is at least understandable !)
