just saw this. i had no idea he was even that old. RIP
Oh no... he's one of my favorite actors of all time, I was just enjoying him in the new season of Twin Peaks... this is gonna be hard for me to wrap my head around...

F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! I love this guy!! He was one of the best character actors there ever was! Oh, this cuts deep! You all know him as the prisoner in the Green Mile- 'Walkin' the mile. Walkin' the mile.' he says in his deadpan delivery as he does a run through for the guards before they take death row prisoners to Ol' Sparky. This is so sad.

First saw him in Alien,and he was good,but over the years so many others..but his lead acting in Paris Texas was great..such a melancholy movie,portrays the vastness of Texas and how people can get lost in life..RIP Mr Stanton,you were one of a kind..
That movie was written by Sam Shepard who just passed away not too long ago.
I'll miss seeing him. I saw him in a lot of stuff over the years and liked him always. R.I.P.
