Im sorry guys but i absolutely hated this book,no mystery,no horror, just a girl lost in the woods. I feel like this book was a quota filler. So far this is my least favorite book by sk and im a big fan of his,but i was very disappointed.

I'm not a big fan of it , but I do like it; I can appreciate it for what it is. Given that SK is huge baseball fan, I think this book came from the heart.Im sorry guys but i absolutely hated this book,no mystery,no horror, just a girl lost in the woods. Oh wow id be here all day making that list. Like 20 or 21 counting the dark tower series.I'm just curious, what other sK books have you read?
Thats very true, who says you have to like every single story, this one just wasnt my cup of tea. Then theres some i couldnt put down and thought were amazing.Different strokes for different folks, I guess Not everyone is gonna love everything that comes from a writer as diverse as Mr. King.

I really don't believe that sK has a quota. I think his imaginative range is very broad, so that some fans don't get of his ideas because those ideas aren't their cut of sK tea.Haven't read it. There are some I didn't care too much for, but a long way from hate. Those would be Cell, Blaze, HIA, Dreamcatcher, Thinner, Buick 8.
He's a commercial business. Some probably are just to fill quotas, more than works from the heart.
Nothing wrong with that.
They were all entertaining enough though.
Yes, I've been lost in woods. That's part of what makes me appreciate the writing. How she gets lost is perfectly written, imho.Felt the same way Blunt..ever been lost in the woods?I was, with a sister of mine, only for an hour or so,when in that same age range..and the terror of not knowing where you are or when you are going to be found,is quite rough for a kid...we found our way to landmarks and knew then where we were, but I can identify with this book, and also for having participated in searches for lost kids since as well..
My son (who is cognitively challenged but still high functioning enough to be unmonitored) decided he would go explore a walking trail when we were on the Isle of Arran in 2005.Felt the same way Blunt..ever been lost in the woods?I was, with a sister of mine, only for an hour or so,when in that same age range..and the terror of not knowing where you are or when you are going to be found,is quite rough for a kid...we found our way to landmarks and knew then where we were, but I can identify with this book, and also for having participated in searches for lost kids since as well..
