Have a safe but faun Halloween! Greetings, spookily talented wordsmith, garden-variety humans and worker bees. Just wanted to say Thank You! for the inspiring literary excellence. I started out writing something entitled Ikebana Crane and Headley the Horseman, but it turned out to be too philosophically well balanced and not nearly scary enough. Hence Prelude to the afternoon of a Komodo dragon , Komodo dragons (apparently) being even scarier than flower arranging and horseback riding combined.

Welcome, Haloween has slowly degraded in quality in my neighborhood over the past few years, nobody even walked down our street last year! And this year the local Fall Fest everyone liked decided to quit its yearly tradition after over 2-3 decades
