Once or twice. I'm not connected to the core group of friends here (who are all excellent, welcoming folk), but enjoy reading the posts and offering silliness. First and foremost I'm here because I'm a fan Mr. Kings' writing.
Yes you are!
We're all connected.
Come with us,
we'll all connect down here.

Or some such thing... ;;D (...there's a reason or two that Stephen doesn't use me for research)

You most certainly are connected to the Ka-Tet. Your posts brighten my day, make me smile, and often give me a needed laugh. A day without Mal just doesn't;t feel right.

I do not regret joining this Board, even though a couple of times things got heated up in the past. I think deleting Hot Topics was a great thing.

Try reading this whole thread from the beginning - several people have left and two have passed on (((SharonC))) and (((NateWatkins))) - really interesting thread
:)

Maybe twice. Once when I first joined and a guy called Walter made some crack about me in an indirect way like 'he keeps coming...and going... and going."
The other was when King and his son, Owen, were on stage, and KIng made a joke about how he hoped that there were no people with hangovers in the audience, and I knew King was making reference to something I had posted shortly before that. I actually like the fact that he takes notice. I was slightly disturbed with the nature of the website as I thought it wasn't 'highbrow' enough, as I'm an intellectual, and like to discuss things very seriously. I haven't come across anyone I didn't particularly dislike.
I doubt that King's reference to a hangover was pointed towards your post. I would call it a coincidence, that's all. Steve just doesn't have the time to be on here reading all of the posts. If he did he wouldn't have time to write.

I saw King in Toronto with Owen and when he made the comment about women not falling in love with him (or something like that) and how he couldn't do anything about it BECAUSE HE IS MARRIED I could swear he was looking right at me.

....I don't understand this post at all.....
I just meant that Tabitha King, in my opinion, is the dominant one in the relationship. What she says goes. I'm also saying that I think they are good people, just like I think my parents were fundamentally good people. King reminds me in some ways like my father, not physically, but in personality. My mother was the boss in the house. What she said was the law.
