IO AVEC CHRISTINE 1.jpgMy name´s Alejandro Ginori and since I was 8 the stories of Stephen King fulled completly my mind and imagination. I remember that the first movie that I watched it was "It", and it was very thrilling! One thing goes with another, because at that way I started to learn as selftaught guy the English language. It was a process to hear music, tv shows and try to read books and magazines, at the beginning it was completly fun and I don´t had any idea; but eventually I learned the language and also in fact, that was the same process that I used when I discovered the italian, french and portuguese languages. And actually I´m still learning german and japanese. But the truth it´s that most of my hobbies started with the reading, I´m in doubt with it.I prefer to read any novel or to hear any movie or song in it´s original language because there´s some things that each language have that it´s special and unique. I love to read the Stephen King´s novels in english language but when I tryed to read it in spanish, portuguese or italian are great but the words that are written there doesn´t have the impact or the magic that my writer hero have in his mind. I mean, the translations are very good, but sometimes I have the sensation that when I read it in english, it´s the voice and the thoughts of Stephen King on the paper. I don´t know, maybe anyone here has the same perception.Anyway, the influence of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Richard Laymon, Elmore Leonard among others was very important to had an approach to the creative writing and actually I´m a student of creative writing at the university.I hope to stay in touch with all the Stephen King´s fans around the world. Besides it, the languages the artistic drawings are my passion.Thank you so much for read my message, take care and regards!

Thank you so much Dana Jean for answer my message and also for the welcome =) Eventually I would like to share my drawings of SK´s world here. I tryed to do it a few minutes ago, but it seems that exceeds the limit allowed =(
Alejandro, we have a place for people to share artwork, it's called Gallery XIX.

We can't post it here on the board, but you can submit it there. It takes a while to be moderated, but there is also a thread to notify the board users that you have posted art and you would like them to go look at it.

Here is where you would post that information.

Hi Alejandro...welcome aboard. What is that over your...right shoulder? On the green wall...is that a window? It has a curios design if it is a window. I wonder if those are grids...those rectangles. I've enjoyed stories from all those people you included in your first post. Mexico City is an incredibly large city, no?

Hello Walter Oobleck =) Yes it is a window jajajajajaajaja In that part of the city were built a flats, and those, are very but very small. So ,those rectangles that you mentioned in fact are grids that limiting the access to the building. The Mexico City is a large city but one thing that makes me laugh it´s that when you're about to land at the airport. In a blink you see the area full of mountains and then the whole city which seems the scattered toys in a child's room giant jajajajaCause you´ll see the buildings, the cars that goes at the freeways, the malls and the tiny pots moving are the people walking on the streets. That thing always makes me laugh when I go out the Mexico City and when I come back jajaja

Welcome A dude... Sweet ride! You do all that work yourself?
IO AVEC CHRISTINE 3.jpg Hello Vulture Lvr4 =) Yes, the owner of the guy it´s one of my neighbours but I help him with the design of the car. He wants to tune it as the same way as the Christine novel. Because he used to hear that a Plymouth Fury of 1958 it was the icon of the novel but he suggest me to design the logo of the name of the car, and the paint for give it the appearance of a damaged car. And it seems that it worked very well! Cause one of his friends (he´s 60 or 71 years old) told him: "Son, that car it´s beautiful and it´s a classic but I didn´t pay a -peso- ( it´s the local mexican currency that it will be equal to a half dollar) for it. Because it´s damaged and it´s a shame"

Hola Alejandro.

Hi Alexander. Greetings from Buenos Aires. I agree with you that the Master should be read in your language. The translations, by right they are, while having the advantage of understood all the words, lost in my opinion at least two thirds the charm and strength of the original text. Moreover, English only properly appreciated the extraordinary literary technique of King.
