Hi all,

Thought I'd give myself a little introduction.

I've been a fan of Stephen King since around 1982, when I was about 11 years old. I always loved reading, and I was in the local grocery store when I asked if I could have a book. My parents let me pick one, and without knowing anything about it, I picked up Cujo, as I thought the cover looked cool. I fell in love with it, and a year or so later I got Christine from the library.

Summer of 1985 I spent at my uncle's, where he had a duffel bag full of books. In those two months, I read The Stand (my fave book ever), Salem's Lot, and a couple more.

1987 was the year King ruled the bookstores, with IT, Misery, Tommyknockers. Since then, I have acquired virtually everything he's ever written, and read most of them. I've had a hard time liking most of his movie/TV adaptations, as they tend to visualize the books differently than I imagined them.

Can't believe it's taken me this long to make it to this forum, but here I am. I'll happily discuss pretty much anything Stephen King related. :)
