hello evreyone I am new to this message board thing have never done it before I have been a King fan for awhile have tried to read everything he has wrote and some twice was also wondering if anyone had any idea on how I can get The Stand the original not the complete and uncut version the one I have is falling apart and would like to replace it thanks to all

Welcome! I don't know where you could get the original Stand but maybe some others on here could help with that

Regarding that copy of The Stand -mine was an ancient mass market paperback that fell completely apart and I lucked up and found a hardcover edition in a thrift store for $2.99 - like new condition. Just check your local thrift stores weekly.

Yeah - I found my copy on a holiday to the "Mexican Riviera" or Mayan Riviera near Cancun when my son got married last year, so mine was a freebie, too (still has the cover but I need to tape it back on!)

...welcome smoke-eater, just check Ebay-you'll find one very reasonable...it's how I replaced one of my hardbacks when it met an unfortunate demise at the hands of a rain shower...
