Hi my name is Shawna I am 19, I love to read and I am a creative writer. I have many hobbies one of them is Crocheting, I don't know what else you'd like to know but I guess that's the most intresting aspects of me.

Welcome to the boards :) I crochet small stuff, mostly potholders and dishcloths. The largest thing I ever crocheted was a cowboy hat. I used string from Home Depot so it would be stiff. I found a picture online of a vest I would love to make but there are no instructions. Do you happen to know what stitch this is?

Man - I wish I could help you there no bounce no play - to me it seems to be a lot of chain stiches but what is holding them together I am not sure of. Maybe see if your library has any books on crochet so you could search for a similar pattern?

I looked on-line for patterns but there weren't any that looked like the picture - good luck!

(((Neesy))) You were so sweet to look for the pattern. Thank you :) I think maybe the interrupted v-stitch might be similar. I could try changing the double-crochets to triple crochets and adding chain stitches on the horizontal to make the holes larger.

Howdy. I'm a chronic knitter. I only knit scarves and I'm from the South and have mild winters. Still, I continue to make them...and read, of course.
You can mail them up here to cold and wintry Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada :cold:  :soap:   We turn blue from the wind chill up here!
