I am new to the board. I guess I should start with the standard "long time listener, fist time caller" line. I have been a huge Stephen King fan since I was about eight years old. My cousin, Summer, gave me first book, Firestarter, 25 years ago, and I have read about everything since. I got Mr. Mercedes in the mail yesterday.
I studied literature/writing in undergrad, but I always made time for my King fixes when the local dealer (bookstore) supplied. Recently, I finished my MFA in illustration, and for one of my capstone projects, I recreated 10 King paperback covers. Umm that's all I can think of otherwise. I work in illustration and as a professional comic book colorist. I like to travel (Berlin, Paris, and Montreal are my favorite places so far). And I bake a mean coconut pound cake!
