Hi everyone!

I’m trying to pick a book for my wife to read next and was hoping for some help. I’ve read every novel SK has published but she has only read Carrie, Rage, Salem’s Lot, Bag of Bones and The Shining.

What should she read next? I’ve narrowed it down to my two favorites: The Dead Zone and Duma Key. They’re very different but she LOVED Bag of Bones and that reminds me of Duma Key. She’s also liked the classics so I think she’d love The Dead Zone (also, she loves Christopher Walker).

What would you choose?

The Dead Zone
or
Duma Key

The SK books your wife has read are fascinating mix of classic SK, literary SK, and Bachman (particularly out of print Bachman). I'd vote The Dead Zone. Besides the the national treasure that is Christopher Walken in the adaptation, the novel is fabulous, links nicely with SK's other works (like Cujo) and if y'all are planning to catch Castle Rock you will have a connection to that particular world (although not really necessary for the show). I also checked the Wikipedia page, and it seems the upcoming Elevation will also have something to do with Castle Rock, so another link and potential recommendation that would branch from The Dead Zone. Whatever you end up recommending, happy reading to you both!

This is coming out of left field but I vote for 11/22/63 :chew::casanova:

I know - it's not listed but I think if she enjoyed Bag of Bones, she would probably love 11/22/63

It's a love story as well as having some time travel in it.
