Last time I asked for help with vague info I got the answer . was looking for finders keepers broadside . but couldn't remember what it was called.. anyway here goes another one.
I was reading this book and about 75 pages in or so. I put it down bc I really started to get into it and wanted to finish this other one I was reading . so I finished the one I was reading then read for one more day by mitch albom.. finished that and started reading another book and then remembered about the Orginal book that this post is about. I just straight up forgot about it. anyways in my age of 43 I can't remember the name of the book and this was the first time I read this author. all I can remember about the author is you would know him if I said it. I know long shot right. hopefully someone has read it. basically what I read so far was the main character is a bad ass female. she is former military. bad ass as in tough. her husband just died.. her sister was murdered and she helps her brother in law with his kids. her neice. the brother in law is an alcoholic. He has a nanny and the main character put in a nanny cam to make sure her nice was in safe hands. one day while watching it she sees her dead husband come into the video and play with Mya. I do remember that for some reason . her neice name is Mya or Mia. she questions the nanny and the nanny pretends she doesn't see anything . just mya playing. then she pepper sprays the main character , steals the SD card and runs. hopefully I got all the details right.
Sorry for this, I know it's a long shot. if this rings a bell to anyone or if anyone knows of a way to figure it out please let me know. I was really into the book. should have just stayed with it but I didn't want to get sidetracked from finishing the novel i was on. I only had 60 pages to go.
