Hi all,

First post so just to say...keen fan of horror and Mr King for many years (wrong side of 50 but trying to make it the right side), been holding off on joining this and a few forums as I'm busy and would like to join in properly so here we are. Early new years pledge....kick back and spend some me-time on forums with friendly folk!

I'm also interested in sharing posts with any creative types out there. In my time I've had involvement in all sorts of media; writing (non-fiction), proof-reading, illustration and some coding. To keep it brief this odd skillset has collided and resulted in a side project I'm working on, a text-message style story-telling app.
These have become very popular recently but I didn't like any of them too much so..I made my own:congratulatory:

I'd love to discuss this and other horror/King related stuff, and love your views on how it could evolve. I'll wrap this up for now, don't want to 'spam' this idea and lose the gist of this first post. So I'll leave with this....

My absolute favourite short Stephen King story is Jeruaslams Lot:encouragement:

It's good to meet you all.

Welcome to the SKMB TouchOfTerror, nice to have you join us.

We may end up moving your thread into our Self Promotion area of the MB at some point, but for now I think it will be okay here.
(Just a general heads-up though, we cannot allow people to post original work/detailed story ideas directly to the MB for legal reasons.)

Thanks for the welcome people, great to be part of this.
And thanks to FlakeNoir for the heads-up, I'll start a thread over on the self-promotion forum to keep anyone interested updated, I'd like to point out that I'm a big believer in indie authors, actually indie-anything, be it games development or writing and launching books so anyone who shares that with me please do join in on the thread. My in-development story/messenger-sim is around 90% done now, so it's getting close to some sort of launch.

I'll cut it short there, this was only an intro after all, so I'll dig through the board and join in some threads.

Thanks again, stay scared :encouragement:
